Joshua Nickelsen LMT #26433
After several years in hospitality, Joshua felt the need for a change. He became passionate about wellness and health, not only for himself, but for others as well. He wanted to care for people, help them restore and preserve their dignity, help them heal themselves, and to live their lives to their fullest potential.
He had instinctively used manual therapy in the past to great benefit in the care of his grandmother by giving her gentle back strokes during an asthma attack. Quickly he could see the power of touch on all the body’s systems, and so ultimately he sought out and began his education and career in anatomy and manual therapy.

Joshua employs Swedish and deep tissue techniques for relaxation and to promote healing and vitality. He incorporates movement, stretching, breath work, and myofascial techniques when appropriate to encourage healthy structural alignment as well as to relieve pain. He is very interested in the field of sports massage, physical therapy, and rehabilitation.

Joshua Graduated from East West College of the Healing Arts
